Requirements for Tutoring

The following list outlines requirements for tutoring students of FreshWise Tutors:

  1. Applicant must have previous experience working with children.
  2. Tutors must have a passion for learning and helping children learn.
  3. Tutors need to have a minimum bachelor’s degree with some specialization.  Advanced degrees are preferred.
  4. Tutors must be reliable and self-starters and demonstrate good communication skills will parents.
  5. Teaching experience is a requirement.
  6. Upon request, a resume, fingerprint card, and background check depending on the tutoring situation.
